What free music-recording downloadable software is the best?

I have audacity right and its pretty good. Is that the best? If not, what is?

I’d say for free, yeah, Audacity is pretty much one of the best. Plus, your computer most likely can’t handle anything more than that anyway.

Also, get on MSN LOL.

    If you can’t do it with Audacity you’re unlikely to be able to do it with anything else..
    Which is best is an individual choice.
    What suits one doesn’t suit another - it’s what you are comfortable with.

    Audacity is very top notch for free audio editing.
    Google around and look for others.
    If you really want a good program you will need to start thinking about buying one.
    I have audacity and it does great.
