Which is the most popularly used music mixing software?

I need to mix 5 songs 2 make up a song of 3.5 minutes.
I need to download a software which is easy to use and also, free.
Suggestions?

Cockos Reaper is a good choice (weirdly it’s a shareware that never ends).

edit: you don’t need to go to Rapidshare to get Audacity. it’s available as a normal download. Methinks someone is after Rapidshare points.

    I use Mixmeister Studio for all my mixing, its easy to learn and you get great results. Oh but its not free. Sorry.
