I’m planning to save up money for a ton of stuff, and I was wonder what is the best music editing/mixing/recording software ? Or just one, because I think music mixing and stuff is really cool and I wanted to try it out. Something under $150 .
FL Studio
What is the best music editing/mixing software?

Use Ableton Live…
But if you wanne go down the route of a DJ and mix tunes together use TRAKTOR PRO..
bu Ableton Live is better for remixes and producing.

Ableton Live is probably a little over budget. I would say try FL Studio. It is a very capable program that can do everything as well (from Producer Edition up, the cheaper versions don’t have audio recording…)

The demo has the same features as the Producer Edition. You can also expand the range of sounds greatly by using free VST instruments and samples in FL Studio.
I know it’s a little over budget as well, but you can save 10% on your purchase with this promo link: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=BACJBAA468
Good luck!
