I wished 10 years ago 4 a better way to play my music w/o the vinyl luggage. I was makin my own edits so a better method 2 play them was needed(why spend 40bux on acetates th@ didn’t last?). When the software came out it was the ultimate. My concern is the one who gets all the popular songs & can’t mix bosco w milk/dnt kno music, calling himself a DJ disrespecting the art
doc, we are not … doc, we are not always going to live in the 80’s and even the 90’s and always be using vinyl. its just a new time frame and you have to accept the fact that not everyone wants to use vinyl…it really is a pain in the to lug around. using a laptop while djing is sooo much easier and you can have all ur music right there. i am a dj and i enjoy it so much more using my laptop for it

ACPilot if ur using … ACPilot if ur using(or if ever used) the laptop version of traktor then ur point is valid but traktor scratch pro scrapes EVERY dj pgm out hands down-I’ve used most of those virtual cornball software pgms(serato came close but it’s boring 2 me) & they don’t compare if you know how to MIX(many who claim 2 be djs really are not, technology just afforded them 2 call themselves that)-besides if you have that VCI-100 or 300, ur claim would be even more baseless
