Did you read the …
Did you read the whole story? This is the only video of the product that was developed to be Studio Vision Pro. Gibson still owns the software. PROBABLY too late, but it is still used in many studios today. The audio is way out of date now, but it is still the best and easiest way to make music via MIDI. Nothing can touch it even though it was canned 9 years ago.

SVP remains the …
SVP remains the best MIDI software sequencer ever created. Professional studios all over the world still use it for sequencing MIDI devices of all kinds. The BEST feature of SVP is the ease of use. ANYONE could jump right in and lay down tracks like a professional with out cracking the user manuel. Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Reason can do everything SVP can do in MIDI, but have a VERY high learning curve. Gibson (who killed Opcode) reported that they lost the source code.

This is better than …
This is better than FL Studio (Fruity Loops) because it has support for actual music notation. I ING HATE that about fruity loops. It is potentially the greatest program ever but then they leave that out? How are real musicians supposed to use FL to their greatest potential? FL Developers = idiots because of this.
