    yeah man, I play the guitar too… the thing is that you also don’t know much about electronic drums. There is a good thing on not using a sampled real drumset. Some electronic drum machines (as the roland tr808 and tr909) have the synthetic sounds that make a lot of electronic genres better defined and better sounding.

    Well I’m normally on FL Studio for Beatmaking and Cubase for Recording. But Ableton Live is soeasy to handle with a enormous workflow that is not in any other daw. for shure not for every style of music the best. but for electronic music such as house, techno, rnb, hip hop a masterpiece of software! try it!

    there’s no such thing as a better music production program?! FL, Ableton and Logic are all great, but i agree ableton is the easiest. it depends on how well you know the program!
    Laidback luke uses FL, chris lake uses Ableton and yes the majority of producers uses logic, but that does’nt make it better?

    I totally agree…..I believe that ableton can be even useful when you dont know so much about production!To use the logic there are so many difficuties but the program is great!!Logic has their tricks and ableton dont!Booth are really good programs and booth reproduces really good things!But seriously,I had really bad experiences with the FL! FL = ;)

    ableton is possibly the quickest program to use to make music if you know your way round, more so than logic
    but logic has its advantages
    its what you do with it that counts :p
    i’ve heard some really good stuff come out of FL

    all in all guys im making tracks in a matter of hours on fl studio and my sound quality is insane. maybe fl studio was for beginners in the past but thats in the past. save all of your presets and download plugins like nexus and get a micro korg and your all set. i dont even believe its me when im done tracking. good luck need any help on fl hit me up. still trying to learn ableton for reputation purposes its like spinning on vinyl.

    I used FL for some time and the things I did in 2 weeks on the fl I do in 2 hours using the ableton!Better than the ableton,only Logic!

    i use, and many other people (including professional producers) more than just one DAW. I use Cubase, Ableton and FL studio all at the same time!

    It all depends on what you do with it.

    i would say Ableton. but use what ever your famiar with. FL is gettingg very professional and given that you rewire into another program. say Cubase or Pro tools to mix down and master your tunes will be just as good. useing different programmes dont make different sounds, its all about your skills. so what ever your comfortable with is what id say
