Custom iPod Touch SONG alarms Clocks.app

UPDATE: This works on 2.0. AWESOME.

I suggest you watch the WHOLE video BEFORE doing anything. PLEASE!!!!

Then read the Notepad file Im going to upload from Stratocaster 2006. READ IT TWICE.
This is a video I put together, its very choppy, I jump around a lot.

I take NO credit for this find. I just learned how to do it from other peoples findings.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE IPOD PLUGGED INTO A SPEAKER TO HEAR THE SONGS, or use the iPhone speakers —only 4 iPhones.
–THE IPOD TOUCH SPEAKER WILL NOT PLAY “ANY SOUNDS” besides the beep alarms that it already has.

You will also need an info.plist file from here: BACKUP the old one. Actually, I think there is a back up in the .zip.

HERE IS THE MANUAL:
http://rapidshare.com/files/129250169/Custome_Alarms_Sounds_Manual.rar.html
NEED: CuteFTP Pro or WinSCP
An .aif alarm file (iTunes song)
—I will walk you through this in the vidoe——-CUT A SONG FILE SIZE USING any music editing software, Audacity, etc.
(also I noticed the sound of .aif files arent as loud in some cases as if you played the song in the music application in the form of an mp3 or wav etc.)
You will also need:
SSH-basic know how of editing files, and navigating thru system.
This may take some time, but after you get the hang of it, its easy.

Thats all I can think of at the moment.

For this you need the Big Clock from iSpazio’s source.

Good Luck.

instead of going to itunes and converting all that crap all u have to do is make a copy of the itunes song from ur itunes folder and than at the end instead of .mp3 change it to .aif, its .
    a lot quicker and ezier.

I havent tried this but I dont see why it wouldnt work.

    Thanks for the find eragon3196.

    I hope this helped you.

Im glad this worked for you.
Do you have the ipod touch 2G or the ipod touch 1G.
It would be cool to use this if you had the 2G because you wouldnt need to plug into an external speaker.
Im so envious of the 2G but I dont think its worth spending all that money when I have a 1G, and the only real upgrade is a speaker and volume control. There is always pockettouch.

    Thanks again,
I should be coming out with more tutorials and videos soon so Subscribe if you are not.

    just long enough to …
just long enough to wake you up. You dont really need to play a whole song.

Basically, the songs that you conver to AIF, are stored in the ROOT partition (this only has 300 MB of free space). Therefore, if your songs are too long you will fill up your root partition and not have room for other stuff.
My songs are just 20 seconds approx.
You can create a SYM link for these songs and make them longer, but I dont know how.

    Good Question
    Good Luck
    Thanks 4 watching
