I make youtube video’s and I’m wanting a video editing software for Christmas. What program should I ask for? Also, I’m looking for something with a reasonable price but still does good.
I’m also wanting a type of software where I can record my music and edit music.

I used dubturbo . Its currently a hot item now in the market because its an all in one software. Dubturbo can work in almost all platforms (Mac, Windows android and etc) You can make remix, dubsteps, beats, record, create and edit music. A full version of dubturbo is less than 40 dollars i think. I dont recommend free software because features are limited and time will come you’ll be asked to purchase a full version. I got dubturbo from here http://dubturbo-beats.com/

I am looking to get started creating, recording and editing audio, and I am looking for a software that an do all three. I would like to be able to create beats and sounds on the computer itself, but I also have a keyboard, electric drums, electric guitar and electric bass. I have lots of experience with music, but minimal experience editing. I’m looking to stay under a $100 budget. So far I like the looks of: Ableton, Mixcraft, ACID, sonar, and especially reason. Do you have a favorite out of those or any better suggestions?

Reason and Ableton SO PROOOOO,pay for them with no regret.

Stunning stuff from Celemony.

Direct Note Access
the new Melodyne dimension

Direct Note Access is a technology that makes the impossible possible: for the first time in audio recording history you can identify and edit individual notes within polyphonic audio material. The unique access that Melodyne affords to pitch, timing, note lengths and other parameters of melodic notes will now also be afforded to individual notes within chords.

I am wanting to add several songs to a slideshow I am making and when one song stops/begins to fade out, another starts. Is there a program that I can use to select the songs and specify the length of time that I want the music to go for and it will automatically set the lengths of each song so that they each flow in succession into one another?

Its hard to explain it here in yahoo but you can do it with dubturbo. Its not just for editing but also you can create beats and mix music with it. I’ve been using it for almost a year and its a good software. Tutorials are attached when you download it and also you can see it on youtube. This will be a great help for first timers using this software.

Download audio unit filters (AU plugin’s ) from this website. http://mda.smartelectronix.com/effects.htm Once you have the dmg file downloaded unzip it and go to Macintosh/library/audio/plug-in’s/components and drag and drop the MDA component file. Make sure you restart gragabebank before looking for changes. The effects can be found if you click in the “i” in the lower right hand corner of the screen and click on the edit tab to add a new AU effect. Hope this was helpful, please subscribe for more videos on music editing software and production.

I want to be able to import audio from iTunes, record straight into it, and edit speed and lay tracks over eachother if possible.
We want to record each of our voices seperatley, as well as guitar.

Any cheap free and user-friendly software would be great :)

Thanks so much :)

I’m trying to edit some music from my computer, to trim some parts and remix some. I can’t seem to find an easy and good software. Please help.
What I’m trying to do is delete some parts of audio, and replace it with other parts of that song, and basically add new songs onto the same track.

Depending on precisely what you’re trying to accomplish, Audacity works well and is free.
