Im looking for a studio recording program, mainly for just vocals and acoustic guitar. Im looking for something simple that can merge two separate recordings, for instance recording the guitar and vocals separate. The price does not matter.
Audacity is a simple, free recording software. you can multi-track, mute channels etc, bog standard vocal effects etc. and its simple to get hold of, create imputes etc.
if you are looking to spend a bit of money, cubase is great, i’ve been using it for years to make full on songs and remixes. but thats if you have money, lots of time on your hands to learn, and a good enough computer to run without latency problems.
