Doesn’t have to be the latest one
Not trail version but something of good quality that i can use more than one song in the program and cut and paste, etc

You can download a trial version of the software from the Adobe website.

There are open source software (free) like Audacity which is just as good.

Hope this helps

so im looking for a good free program for mac thats simple to use and that looks and operates like this… help please…
http://www.zs2002.com/products/A_AudioM/screen2.gif

If you have a mac, use Garageband. It’s simple, really, if you know how to use it, which is not hard to do. When you open it, choose "Loops" so it shows up completely blank, then go to (I believe) Track-> New Track, then select "Real Instrument" to record keyboard, voice, guitar, etc. To cut music and such, drag music from iTunes into the workspace and it will import the music. The eye icon at the bottom right will open up your Loops, which are preset little audio tracks.

It looks like this: http://www.synthtopia.com/synth_review/synth_images/AppleGarageBand.jpg

I am looking to record guitar/vocals, recording in loops would be desirable. Also for Windows Vista.

I have Reason, and when I upload it online (myspace) it sounds horrible; even when I converted it through the software to the right compression for online playing it was really bad. I want a software that will sound good online..

I think you can try this one

I’ve been trying to record some songs I’ve written as well as some covers & I’ve used Audacity but I don’t think that it’s that good of a program. Does anyone have a better, free, downloadable program suggestion? & if that program has music making options, that’d be wonderful. Thanks [:

You can try http://www.mp3buzz.org
You can download straight from there or you can just listen to the music from there.

No need to download any programs, just download the mp3’s directly from the website!
Check out the video and how easy it is to use

I’ve been looking for a music making software, I’ve heard of where you don’t have to play the instruments. just have to drag and drop and stuff like that. is there anything like that?

Good question. You are right, there are programs out there that let you make your own music without instruments. I recommend a program called FL Studio. It comes with everything you need to make your own original music. You will be able to program the instruments and melodies and add things like drums and effects.

Try out the free demo. You can download it from their website: http://flstudio.image-line.com/

If you like the program and want to buy the full version, here is a promotional link that will save you 10% on the program: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416

It comes in a few different versions. I recommend the Producer Edition. That is what the demo is and it has all the features. Plus when you buy it, you get free update for life, so whenever a new version comes out, you get to upgrade for free. It’s a great deal!

i bought pyro audio and installed it on my home computer, which crashed recently. the $80 software is not permitted to be installed on another computer (like my laptop that i now use all the time). i just got put in charge of a getting a new mix for our dance squad, but don’t have the software and need the mix asap. where can i get new software (similar to garageband) cheap, if not free, and really fast? (i already know about mixcraft, and that is not an option)

I need a program (if it exists) that can potentially separate the beat of a song from the vocalized part of the song. I’m attempting to edit music together as well, so if the program has a feature that can line up the two beats of the different songs, that would be preferable. Also, this is only a preference, but a program that can edit a file that has been purchased, and edit through the locks/codes put on by companies such as iTunes. Thanks!

There’s not much for Windows that I know of. Maybe some Adobe product, but it’s certainly not cheap. On Mac there’s Logic Pro/Express that would do a nice job of that. GarageBand won’t cut it.

I’m trying to decide which audio production & recording software I should use to create a dynamic captivating sound. These three seemed to be the most popular demands: Sonic Producer, FL Studio and GoldWave.

Since, I’m limited with time; I’m trying to find a free trial. I’m unable to find a free trial of Sonic Producer, so therefore I’m trying to choose between FL Studio and GoldWave.

The following questions answered would be really appreciated—NO BIAS:

1.)Pros and Cons to: FL Studio and GoldWave
2.)Which one is easier to use?
3.)Better buy and overall performance?

(No other suggestions are necessary, but if anyone also happens to know how I can activate a free trial of Sonic Producer, please tell me)

Thank you!

I have used FL Studio for years and I would definitely recommend it. It is easy to use and it has all the features needed to make professional music. It is also a great deal because they give you free lifetime updates so every time a new version comes out, you get to upgrade for free. You can even save 10% on the software with this promotional link for the official online store: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416 Try out the demo and if you like it, save on the full version with that link. I recommend the Producer Edition so you get all the features of the program.
